Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances as compared to the performance of her peers. She began considering alternatives. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. But she quit before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Her main role was as The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. The band she was in, was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create The Eurythmics pop duo.
